The Media Studio for TomTom 2.5 makes it possible to now watch movies and videos on a TomTom navigator. The converted files for the TomTom are stored in a small amount of space so that a 128 Mb memory card is sufficient.
The program is compatible with several of the TomTom navigation devices. Movies can be viewed on the Go, Go 300, 500, 510, 700, 710 and 910, for example. In most cases a memory card containing the video files will be necessary, but if the navigator has a hard disk, like the Tom Tom 910, then the videos can be stored on the device itself.
The Media Studio for TomTom 2.5 can convert just about any video type into one that can be viewed on TomTom devices. The user can watch things like movies, recorded television shows, videos downloaded from the internet or DVDs on the navigator. This is especially convenient when traveling, since it is entertaining and you will see something you actually want to.
One unique feature of the Media Studio for TomTom 2.5 program is that it recognizes when the navigator is being used for directions. Since that means that you are driving, then the video will automatically be paused so that it doesn’t distract. |
